FieldGate makes time tracking simple for field workers. Employees can clock in and out from any device with a browser — no app download required.
Employees log in to FieldGate and tap the Clock In button on their dashboard. The system records the exact timestamp and their IP address. If location permissions are granted, GPS coordinates are also captured.
While clocked in, employees can tap Start Break. Break time is tracked separately and deducted from total hours automatically.
Tap Clock Out to end the session. The total hours worked (minus break time) are recorded and submitted for manager approval.
Managers can add, edit, or delete time entries on behalf of employees from the Hours tab. All manual edits are logged with the manager's name and a required note.
