Creating and assigning shifts

The Schedule tab gives managers a weekly view of all shifts across the team.

Creating a shift

Click any empty slot in the schedule grid or click Add Shift. Fill in:

• Employee — who the shift is assigned to
• Date — the shift date
• Start and end time — e.g. 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Role label — optional, e.g. "Site Lead" or "Driver"
• Note — any instructions for the employee

Notifying employees

After creating a shift, FieldGate can send an in-app notification to the assigned employee. They'll see the shift in their Schedule tab and receive an alert badge.
